We expect to have an exciting schedule ahead of us this year, especially with this been a Fultons’ award year.

Last Year there were three national events held, which were well attended. Also held was a visit to the new casino development, which had record attendance.

Along with the normal regional events occurring we are hoping to arrange a number of site visits this year, including as possibilities:

-          Wind farm Blue Horizon Bay

-          Olifantskop reservoir

-          Jacking of Sundays River Bridge

-          Visit to a quarry within the Port Elizabeth Area, to look at the production of aggregates within the area.

Dates and arrangements still need to be made for the above, but we expect to able arrange a number of visits and even other possibilities should the above not be possible.

We further encourage members to be actively involved with society within the region and welcome possible ideas for future site visits/ events.

We will be encouraging increased membership in the area and hope that more people will get involved giving greater benefit to the industry within the area.
