ARCHITECTURAL CONCRETE SEMINAR

More than 50 members and guests attended this special half-day seminar organised recently by the Inland Branch. Four guest speakers presented various aspects of concrete in the architectural field, ranging from an overview of modern day use of concrete in architecture and decorative concrete, to some new and innovative uses of cementitious products and practical advice when selecting precast concrete elements.

Running concurrently with the seminar was an exhibition of local products and services available, that support concrete when specified by architects and this resulted in valuable networking with the profession and the cementitious industry. The Inland Branch is very grateful to the sponsors that supported the event, these being:
