It is important to note that the members of the CSSA remain as individual persons, either as members under one of the individual membership categories, namely "Individual Member", "Retired Member", "Honorary Member" or nominated in the "Company Member" or "Academic Insitution Member" category. Hence the standard benefits listed for all members will be enjoyed by these individuals. Additional benefits applicable to the Company member" category, relate primarily to promotional opportunities and exposure for the company.

A company which accepts membership of the society through its nominated representative or representatives of the organisation. In addition to a company accepting membership of the Society in the "Company Member" category, Company membership may be accepted by an individual who has a special interest in the goals and objectives of the Society and its continued development and wishes to receive the benefits of membership from this category in person

This category covers academic, teaching, research and technical staff engaged by the academic institution, in addition to full time post graduate (Masters and PhD) students and final year undergraduate students undertaking programs of study relevant to the activities and interests of the Concrete Society.
