The Cement and Concrete Institute has released the long-awaited publication - "Sustainable Concrete".

This 30-page booklet is a must for all those interested in the issue of sustainability, what it is, why it is important and the role which concrete can play in the provision of sustainable buidlings and infrastructure.

Four further documents are envisaged by the Institute to complement this publication, focussing specifically on concrete's role in the provision of sustainable structures, sustainable architecture, sustainable roads and sustainable human settlements.
